The person making a booking confirms that they are authorised to act on behalf of all travellers named in the booking. This applies whether payment is made by one person or split between multiple travellers.
By making the booking, the booking person agrees to these Terms on behalf of all travellers included in the booking and is responsible for ensuring that each traveller has read and accepted them.
These Terms set out the rights and obligations that apply between you and Big Daddy Travel. They do not create any rights beyond those expressly stated in these Terms, except for rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
All travellers must hold a valid passport for international travel. Many countries require passports to be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the date of return, and some countries require a machine-readable passport. When making an international travel booking, you must inform us if your passport has less than six (6) months’ validity remaining or if it is not machine-readable.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you hold a valid passport well in advance of travel. Airlines, border authorities and immigration officials may refuse boarding, transit or entry if you do not hold the required travel documents.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you hold all passports, visas, transit visas, re-entry permits and other documents required by immigration, customs, border control and other government authorities for your itinerary. Any fines, penalties, charges, losses, costs or other expenses incurred as a result of your failure to hold or produce the required documents will be your responsibility, except to the extent that such loss arises directly from our error or negligence.
Visa requirements vary depending on the country or countries you are travelling to or transiting through, the purpose and duration of travel, and your nationality or citizenship. You are responsible for checking all applicable passport, visa and entry requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate or government authority before travel and for allowing sufficient time for the processing and issue of all required documents.
If you are travelling on a one-way ticket, it is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the entry, onward travel and other legal requirements of the destination country and of any country through which you transit.
We strongly recommend that, before travel, you review official government travel advice and entry requirements for each destination and transit point on your itinerary, as these requirements may change at short notice.
If you are travelling to or transiting through the United States, you should check the official ESTA website for information regarding the Visa Waiver Program and compulsory pre-travel authorisation requirements.
If you are travelling to or transiting through Canada, you should check the official Government of Canada eTA website regarding Electronic Travel Authorization requirements. Australian passport holders may require a valid eTA, visa or permit before travel. Eligibility is determined solely by the relevant Canadian authorities, and some travellers may be required to obtain a visa or permit.
If you have any doubt about your eligibility for any visa, ESTA, eTA or other travel authorisation, we strongly recommend that you obtain confirmation of your eligibility, and where applicable secure the required approval, before confirming or purchasing your airfare or other travel arrangements.
We provide travel booking, advisory and related support services which may enable you to:
(a) search for, enquire about, book or purchase travel-related products and services made available through our website, contact centre or other communication channels;
(b) conduct flight and other travel-related searches, obtain quotes, and make reservations;
(c) access our customer support services for assistance in relation to bookings made through us;
(d) use our payment processing, booking management and ticketing services; and
(e) receive support by online communication, email or telephone for booking confirmations, changes and other booking-related enquiries, subject to applicable service fees.
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover your travel arrangements.
Your insurance should include adequate cover for cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, repatriation, personal injury, accident, death, loss or delay of baggage and personal effects, loss of money, and personal liability.
It is solely your responsibility to obtain and maintain an insurance policy that is appropriate for your travel plans, destination, activities and personal circumstances, including any pre-existing medical conditions.
We do not provide insurance advice, and we make no representation or warranty as to the suitability, scope or adequacy of any insurance product. You should read the product disclosure statement, policy wording, exclusions, conditions and limits carefully before purchasing any insurance.
You are responsible for ensuring that you are aware of, and comply with, all health, vaccination, testing, medical entry and other health-related requirements applicable to your travel itinerary.
Failure to hold or present the required health or vaccination documentation may result in denied boarding, refusal of entry, quarantine, delay or other disruption to your travel.
We strongly recommend that you consult your doctor, travel medical service or specialist vaccination clinic well before departure to obtain advice specific to your itinerary, destination, activities and personal circumstances. Travellers should also refer to official Australian Government travel advice, including Smartraveller, for health, vaccination and medication guidance.
You are responsible for ensuring that any prescription medicines, medical devices or health-related items you intend to carry are lawful and permitted in each country on your itinerary, including any transit country.
Any request relating to medical needs, mobility assistance, onboard support, refrigeration, power supply, seating, carriage of medical equipment or other health-related arrangements is subject to the policies, operational requirements and discretion of the relevant travel service provider. While we may pass your request to the relevant supplier as part of your booking, we do not guarantee that any such request will be accepted or accommodated.
It remains your responsibility to confirm directly with the relevant travel service provider, prior to travel and again before departure where appropriate, whether any medical or special assistance request has been approved and can be accommodated.
We may receive commissions, incentives, fees, rebates or other financial benefits in connection with bookings and travel-related products or services arranged by us with third-party travel service providers on your behalf.
Unless required by applicable law, we are not obliged to disclose the nature or amount of any such commission, incentive, fee, rebate or other financial benefit.
A deposit, partial payment or full payment may be required at the time of booking in order to confirm your travel arrangements. We will advise you of the amount payable and the due date for any balance.
By paying a deposit or partial payment, you acknowledge and agree that such payment is made to secure booking arrangements and may be non-refundable in the event of cancellation by you, change of mind, or failure to proceed with the booking for reasons not caused by us, except where required by law.
Any deposit or partial payment may be forfeited and remain non-refundable if you cancel or change your mind before full payment is made, even if the fare is otherwise refundable, except where required by law.
Where the relevant travel service provider’s terms and conditions provide that a deposit, partial payment or other amount is non-refundable, you agree that such amount will remain non-refundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If any deposit or partial payment is refundable, any refund is subject to us first receiving the relevant funds from the travel service provider and/or receiving the travel service provider’s authority to process the refund.
If final payment is not received by the due date, we may treat the booking as cancelled, and any deposit or partial payment already made may be forfeited, together with any applicable supplier fees, cancellation charges or administrative costs.
All bookings made through our website, contact centre or any agent-assisted channel are subject to our applicable service fees and consolidation fees. These fees form part of the total price payable for the booking and are charged for the booking, advisory, administration, ticketing and customer support services provided by us.
Domestic Flight Bookings — Economy: Service Fee AUD 35 per person; Consolidation Fee AUD 25 per person capped at AUD 100 per booking.
Domestic Flight Bookings — Premium Economy, Business and First Class: Service Fee AUD 99 per person; Consolidation Fee AUD 25 per person capped at AUD 300 per booking.
International Flight Bookings — Economy: Service Fee AUD 175 per person; Consolidation Fee AUD 35 per person capped at AUD 1,400 per booking.
International Flight Bookings — Premium Economy, Business and First Class: Service Fee AUD 475 per person; Consolidation Fee AUD 35 per person capped at AUD 1,900 per booking.
These fees are payable in addition to the airfare, taxes, carrier charges and any applicable supplier-imposed fees, unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of booking.
Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, service fees and consolidation fees are non-refundable once your booking has been confirmed and the relevant booking, advisory, administration or ticketing services have been provided.
Subject to your refund and remedy rights under the Australian Consumer Law, any change and cancellation fees applicable to your booking will be outlined in your quote, tax invoice and/or itinerary, as applicable.
All bookings made on your behalf are subject to the terms and conditions imposed by the travel service provider. If a travel service provider’s terms and conditions include a no-refund policy, our ability to provide a remedy will be limited to what is provided by the travel service provider, which may include a travel credit.
Changed or cancelled bookings for any reason, including matters outside your or our control, may also incur travel service provider fees, which can be up to 100% of the cost of the booking, regardless of whether travel has commenced.
Travel service provider fees may also apply where a booking is changed for any reason and when tickets or documents are re-issued.
Where we incur any liability for a travel service provider change or cancellation fee for any booking which is changed or cancelled for any reason, you agree to reimburse us for the amount of that fee to the extent permitted by law.
Where you seek a refund for a changed or cancelled booking for which payment has been made to the travel service provider, we will not provide a refund to you until we receive the funds from that travel service provider or are authorised by that travel service provider to process the refund, subject to that provider’s change or cancellation policy.
If you request changes to your booking, we will endeavour to accommodate your request, although it may not always be feasible. All changes are subject to any applicable travel service provider fees and change fees as outlined in your quote, tax invoice and/or itinerary. You may also be responsible for any price increases resulting from your change request. Fares cannot be downgraded to a lower fare than originally booked while making changes unless expressly permitted by the supplier.
If you cancel any part of your booking, your deposit may be forfeited, and you may be liable for any applicable travel service provider fees and cancellation fees as detailed in your quote, tax invoice and/or itinerary. We will refund any remaining funds, unless otherwise stated. Alternatively, a travel credit may be offered by us or the travel service provider, subject to applicable conditions.
If your deposit or booking is refundable, refunds are contingent upon receipt of funds from the travel service provider and/or authorisation from the travel service provider.
For instant purchase or non-refundable bookings, no refunds, travel credits, or other remedies may be available from the travel service provider and/or us upon cancellation, except where required by law.
Applicable Fees:
• Domestic Booking Changes: AUD 75 per person, in addition to travel service provider fees and consolidation fees of AUD 35.
• International Booking Changes (including Trans-Tasman): AUD 150 per person, plus travel service provider fees and consolidation fees of AUD 35 per person, capped at AUD 700 per booking.
• Domestic Booking Cancellations for Refund or Credit: AUD 75 per person, capped at AUD 300 per booking, plus consolidation fees of AUD 35 per person.
• International Booking Cancellations for Refund or Credit (Economy Class): AUD 175 per person, capped at AUD 1,000 per booking, plus travel service provider fees and consolidation fees of AUD 35 per person.
• International Booking Cancellations for Refund or Credit (Business Class / Premium Economy): AUD 375 per person, plus travel service provider fees and consolidation fees of AUD 35 per person, capped at AUD 1,400 per booking.
If a travel service provider changes or cancels your booking, any alternative arrangements, credit, refund or other remedy will be subject to that travel service provider’s terms and conditions, policies, fare rules and operational requirements, and to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where a booking is changed or cancelled by a travel service provider, the relevant provider may, at its discretion, offer one or more of the following:
(a) alternative travel arrangements of a comparable standard, where available;
(b) a travel credit for the amount paid, subject to the provider’s conditions; or
(c) a refund, less any non-refundable amounts, unrecoverable costs, supplier fees, cancellation charges or other amounts lawfully retained by the provider or any intermediary.
Not all tickets or travel products are eligible to be converted into a credit for future use. Any credit for future use is subject to the fare rules, supplier policies and any restrictions imposed by the relevant travel service provider.
Where a booking is eligible to be converted into a credit for future use, our service fee for processing that credit is AUD 175 per person.
Unless otherwise advised in writing, the following conditions apply:
(a) the credit must be used within one (1) year from the original ticket issue or purchase date, unless a different validity period is imposed by the supplier;
(b) the credit cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded or transferred, except where required by law;
(c) name changes are not permitted;
(d) the original departure airport must remain the same, unless otherwise approved by the airline;
(e) any rerouting is subject to airline approval and any applicable airline penalties or fare differences;
(f) a change of airline is not permitted;
(g) any rebooking is subject to applicable airline penalties, fare differences, tax differences and our service fees; and
(h) fares cannot be downgraded to a lower fare than originally booked, unless permitted by the airline and the applicable fare rules.
A travel service provider may materially modify, suspend or cancel your booking due to unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
In these Terms, unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances means any event or circumstance outside the reasonable control of the relevant travel service provider which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken, including war, threat of war, civil unrest, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, epidemic, pandemic, infectious disease outbreak, quarantine restrictions, natural disaster, bushfire, volcanic activity, adverse weather, airport or port closure, transport disruption, technical transport issues, changes to schedules, border closures, travel restrictions, government directions, evacuation orders, changes in law, and similar events.
If your booking is affected by unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances, any refund, credit, alternative arrangement or other remedy will be subject to the applicable supplier terms and conditions and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where permitted, a travel service provider may offer a credit instead of a refund. We may also, at our discretion and subject to any applicable hardship policy, offer a credit or other assistance.
Any medical waiver request is processed strictly in accordance with the operating airline’s medical waiver policy and remains at the sole discretion of the airline.
Our role is limited to forwarding your medical documents and supporting information to the airline on your behalf. We do not have authority to approve, guarantee, influence or expedite any medical waiver request.
Submitting medical documents does not mean that a waiver has been approved. Until the airline confirms approval in writing, all original fare rules, ticket conditions, penalties, change fees and cancellation fees continue to apply.
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate and verifiable medical documentation in the form required by the airline. We are not liable for any refusal, delay, loss, additional cost or other consequence arising from the airline’s decision, changes to airline policy, or any incomplete, inaccurate or late information provided by you. The airline’s decision is final.
Any applicable credit card or debit card surcharge disclosed in your quote, tax invoice, itinerary or payment page will apply to payments made by card, subject to applicable law. Any such surcharge will not exceed our reasonable cost of acceptance for that payment method, to the extent required by law.
You authorise us to charge to your nominated credit card or debit card all amounts payable by you in connection with the services provided by us and the booking arranged on your behalf.
If payment is declined, reversed, charged back, not honoured by the card issuer, or otherwise not received for any reason, you must immediately pay us all outstanding amounts on demand.
To manage fraud risk, payment risk and compliance requirements, we may require additional verification documents for any booking that we identify, in our reasonable discretion, as high-risk or high value.
Where requested, you must provide the required documents within the timeframe specified by us, which may include within four (4) hours of booking.
Requested documents may include clear passport copies for all travellers, valid identification for the cardholder, and images of the payment card used with the CVV redacted.
If you do not provide the requested documents within the required timeframe, we may cancel or decline the booking. Where appropriate, any payment received will be refunded to the original payment method, less any non-recoverable charges lawfully incurred.
We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to decline or cancel any booking where this is necessary to manage financial risk, suspected fraud, chargeback exposure, compliance obligations or other legitimate business concerns.
By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge the amounts payable by you to your nominated payment method and to disclose payment, billing and identification information to card issuers, financial institutions, payment providers, fraud prevention services and relevant suppliers for verification, fraud prevention, risk assessment and booking fulfilment.
Before issuing travel, documentation or processing a booking, we may conduct verification checks in relation to your payment credentials and identity. In some cases, you may be required to submit additional documentation to verify the transaction and reduce the risk of fraud, payment failure or disruption to travel.
If your payment method is not approved and we are unable to contact you before the applicable ticketing time limit expires, the booking may be cancelled without liability to us for any increase in fares, rebooking cost or other loss, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach of duty.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any booking where, in our reasonable opinion, it is appropriate to do so having regard to payment risk, fraud concerns, supplier requirements or applicable regulations.
Our booking, advisory and related services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
In particular, our services are provided with guarantees that they will:
(a) be rendered with due care and skill;
(b) be reasonably fit for any purpose that we make known, or that you make known to us;
(c) be supplied within a reasonable time, where no time for supply is fixed; and
(d) where applicable, be reasonably capable of achieving any result that you make known to us and that we agree to provide.
Big Daddy Travel Pty Ltd trading as Big Daddy Travel acts solely as an agent for third-party travel providers, including but not limited to airlines, transport operators, hotels, tour operators, wholesalers, consolidators, insurers and other travel service providers (“Suppliers”).
Any booking, advisory and other related services we provide to you, including processing changes, cancellations, refund requests, credits, waivers, reissues or other booking support, are collateral to that agency relationship.
When you make a booking through us, your booking creates a direct contract between you and the relevant Supplier, and not with Big Daddy Travel Pty Ltd, unless expressly stated otherwise. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the relevant Supplier’s terms and conditions, including applicable conditions of carriage, fare rules, cancellation policies and limitations of liability.
Our obligation to you is limited to providing booking, advisory, administrative and intermediary services, including arranging travel bookings on your behalf and facilitating the relevant contractual arrangements between you and the Supplier. We exercise reasonable care in selecting reputable Suppliers, but we are not ourselves a provider of the travel services booked.
We do not own, control, manage, operate or provide the travel products or services supplied by third-party Suppliers. Accordingly, to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not responsible for the performance, delivery, quality, cancellation, delay, disruption, overbooking, schedule change, suspension, insolvency, act, omission or default of any Supplier.
We can provide you with copies of the relevant Supplier terms and conditions on request, where available.
Your legal rights in connection with the supply of travel services are against the relevant Supplier. Except to the extent that a problem is caused directly by our fault, negligence, breach of duty or breach of the Australian Consumer Law, any claim, complaint, refund request, dispute or remedy relating to the travel product or service itself must be made against the relevant Supplier and not against Big Daddy Travel.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not accept liability in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss, claim, delay, additional expense, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, missed connection or consequential loss caused directly or indirectly by the acts, omissions or default of any third-party Supplier over whom we have no direct control, force majeure events, unavoidable or extraordinary circumstances, supplier insolvency or any other event which is not preventable by the exercise of reasonable diligence on our part.
Our liability is further limited to the extent permitted by any relevant international convention, including the Montreal Convention in respect of travel by air, which may limit compensation payable in relation to death, personal injury, delay, baggage loss, baggage damage or baggage delay.
Where our liability cannot lawfully be excluded, and where liability may lawfully be limited, our liability is limited to the remedies required of us under applicable law, including the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any consumer guarantee, right or remedy conferred on you by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Without limiting Clause 24, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, if a third-party Supplier, consolidator, wholesaler, airline, hotel, insurer, transport operator or other provider becomes insolvent, enters external administration, ceases trading, suspends services or is otherwise unable to provide the travel product or service you have booked, Big Daddy Travel Pty Ltd will not be liable to reimburse you for the cost of that booking or for any resulting loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or expense, except to the extent that such loss is caused directly by our fault, negligence, breach of duty or breach of law.
Where available, we may provide reasonable assistance to you in submitting a claim, refund request, credit request or other recovery request to the relevant Supplier, consolidator, insurer or other responsible party, but we are not obliged to guarantee any recovery or reimbursement.
Seat assignments made through our website or by our travel consultants are provided as a convenience only and do not constitute a contractual guarantee or entitlement to any specific seat. In accordance with the conditions of carriage of the operating airline and applicable aviation regulations, the airline reserves the right to change, reassign or cancel any seat assignment at any time without prior notice.
You acknowledge and accept that no assurance can be given regarding final seat allocation, regardless of whether a seat was selected as complimentary or paid. Big Daddy Travel Pty Ltd is not liable for any inconvenience, loss or damage arising from any seat reallocation or change made by the airline.
Paid seat selection may improve your chance of retaining a particular seat, but even paid seats may be changed or cancelled by the airline due to operational requirements or special circumstances. No seat selection is guaranteed until boarding.
Meal options and special dietary requests are subject to airline policies, availability and operational requirements. Although airlines may endeavour to accommodate such requests, no specific meal can be guaranteed.
Requests for wheelchair assistance, mobility support, infant seats, bassinets and similar services are subject to airline policies, operational requirements, availability and safety rules. These services are not guaranteed and may be changed, refused or withdrawn by the airline.
By making a booking with Big Daddy Travel, whether online or through our contact centre, you acknowledge and accept that Big Daddy Travel is not responsible for any issues, losses or inconvenience arising from seat changes, meal substitutions, or the unavailability of special assistance or other ancillary requests.
All prices are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or varied without notice prior to confirmation of your booking. A price is only guaranteed once your booking has been paid in full and confirmed by us in writing.
Prices may change due to matters outside our control, including but not limited to adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, increases in airfares, taxes, airport charges, government imposts, supplier price increases, system updates or changes in class availability.
Please contact us for up-to-date pricing before confirming your booking.
Flexible Ticket is an optional service offered by Big Daddy Travel and may be available for purchase during the booking process on eligible bookings. It is designed to provide additional flexibility in relation to date changes, subject to these Terms.
Flexible Ticket cannot be used by contacting the airline directly. All rebooking requests relying on the Flexible Ticket service must be made through our contact centre or by email at least 48 hours prior to the original scheduled departure time.
Changeable Ticket is an optional service provided by Big Daddy Travel on eligible bookings to offer customers additional flexibility for flight changes, subject to these Terms.
All such services remain subject to supplier policies, fare rules, availability, and the specific service conditions disclosed at the time of booking.
A booking fee of AUD 75 per person applies to any booking made over the phone through our contact centre, in addition to any service fees, consolidation fees and other applicable charges for domestic or international travel set out in these Terms.
This fee reflects the reasonable direct and indirect costs, time, effort and resources incurred by our travel consultants in processing new flight bookings and providing agent-assisted services.
All fares displayed may include the applicable booking, service and consolidation fees charged per passenger for bookings made online or through our contact centre.
Indicative fees are as follows: International bookings: AUD 175 plus a consolidation fee of AUD 35; Domestic bookings: AUD 75 plus a consolidation fee of AUD 25; Urgent bookings for travel within 7 days: AUD 275 plus a consolidation fee of AUD 35.
Applicable fees will be disclosed during the booking process or in your quote, invoice, itinerary or payment page, and form part of the total price payable.
Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, booking fees, service fees and consolidation fees are generally non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed and the relevant services have been provided.
All refund and credit requests are subject to the service fees and processing fees referred to in these Terms, including any applicable fees under the clause dealing with changes or cancellations by you.
Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Your rights under consumer guarantees and any other non-excludable legal rights apply in addition to any rights described in these Terms and in the relevant Supplier’s terms and conditions.
Except where required under the Australian Consumer Law, your right to a refund for a travel product booked through our website or contact centre is governed by these Terms and the relevant Supplier’s terms and conditions.
Big Daddy Travel will only be liable to pass on a refund to you to the extent that we actually receive the refund from the relevant Supplier, unless we are otherwise required by law to provide a remedy.
Where a refund is applicable, the timing of any refund depends on the relevant Supplier, intermediary, payment provider and banking system and is therefore not wholly within our control.
Refunds to an overseas bank account may incur a reasonable processing fee reflecting actual bank, payment provider, intermediary and foreign transfer costs. Any currency conversion is subject to the rate applied by the relevant bank or payment provider at the time of processing.
If you fail to check in, board a flight, or use any flight coupon or sector in sequence, the airline may cancel onward or return travel without notice. Big Daddy Travel is not responsible for any resulting loss, fare forfeiture, rebooking cost or disruption, except to the extent caused by our fault or required by law.
We reserve the right to amend your booking, in consultation with you where appropriate, where an error or omission has been made in relation to the travel product or services purchased due to system issues, technology errors, fare filing errors, supplier errors, incorrect fare conditions or other material and unreasonable outcomes.
Single Name on Passport – Important Notice: Airlines apply different policies to passengers whose passports contain only a given name or only a surname. If your passport contains a single name only, or if there is any issue regarding passenger name format, you must notify Big Daddy Travel as soon as possible after booking and, in any event, within four (4) hours of completing your booking.
Any request for a name correction must be made as soon as possible after booking and, in any event, within four (4) hours of booking, and may be subject to a service fee of AUD 75 per person, in addition to any applicable fare difference, tax difference or supplier charge.
Errors and omissions on our website are corrected when identified. If a material pricing or booking error is discovered after a reservation is made, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and may offer you the option of confirming the booking at the correct price or receiving a full refund of the amount paid.
To assist with your booking, you should provide your frequent flyer membership number or other relevant loyalty program details at the time of booking.
You are responsible for reviewing the terms and conditions of your membership directly with the relevant loyalty program provider. We cannot guarantee the accrual of points, status credits, lounge access, upgrades or any other benefit associated with any loyalty program, as these are determined solely by the loyalty program provider and the fare conditions of your booking.
By proceeding with the purchase of any ancillary service, including but not limited to refundable fare add-ons, seat requests, meal requests, WhatsApp e-ticket delivery or similar optional services, you acknowledge and agree that such ancillary services are generally non-refundable once booked, except where required by law.
Ancillary services remain subject to supplier rules, operational requirements and availability where applicable.
We recommend that you contact the relevant travel service provider to confirm your scheduled departure time at least 24 hours before travel.
Where a schedule change, disruption or reissue is caused by an airline or other travel service provider, Big Daddy Travel may charge a schedule change handling fee of AUD 75 per person for assisting with the processing of the revised arrangements, subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with applicable privacy, data protection, data breach notification and anti-spam laws.
By providing personal information to us, you consent to us collecting, using, storing and disclosing your personal information as reasonably necessary for the purposes of quotations, bookings, payments, fraud prevention, customer support, ticketing, supplier coordination, marketing where permitted, and compliance with legal obligations.
In particular, you acknowledge and agree that, where you request international travel or other services involving overseas suppliers, we may disclose your personal information to overseas recipients, including airlines, hotels, transport operators, tour operators, insurers, payment processors, fraud prevention services and other travel service providers involved in your booking.
Further information about how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, including likely overseas disclosures where practicable, will be set out in our Privacy Policy published on our website.
We reserve the right to modify these Booking Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to applicable law.
If we make changes to these Terms, the amended version will be posted on our website and will take effect from the time of posting unless otherwise stated.
The applicable Terms are those in effect at the time you make your booking, unless a later change is required by law or expressly agreed between the parties.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia applicable there.
You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia and any courts competent to hear appeals from those courts.
If you have a complaint regarding our services, please notify us as soon as possible so that we have a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, address the issue.
If your complaint relates to services provided by an airline or other Supplier during travel, you should also raise the issue directly with that Supplier at the time the issue arises.
We will use reasonable efforts to assist with complaints relating to bookings made through us, but any remedy relating to the travel product or service itself remains subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant Supplier and your rights under applicable law.
